Internationally local.  That’s Hashi.

Imagine a place where cuisine and good taste come together without losing its ambience of comfort. Where the menu experience is aligned with the delicate artistry of artistic detail. A place where diners can enjoy the experience of local cuisine with a contemporary feel, using local produce when best and moving further afield when necessary.

The balanced and harmonious menu showcases the creativity of Carlos Kristensen, elected as the best chef in Porto Alegre five times (Veja Comer & Beber magazine).

Voted the Best Contemporary Restaurant in seven consecutive editions of the Veja magazine guide and awarded with the highest distinction of Best Restaurant in the City, Hashi was also awarded the title of Best Argentinean Wine List in the country (Prazeres da Mesa magazine).

No details were overlooked in the restaurant’s design.  The crockery was made exclusively for the establishment and the architectural concept envelops diners in the perfect balance between sounds, color and lighting.

The unique experience, spearheaded by Kristensen and his wife Luciane Pacheco Scherer, begins in the modern setting, with space for art exhibitions and events, and culminates in the memorable menu, whose high point is the Confidence Menu, where the creativity of the chef is enhanced by the freedom to develop exclusive and inspiring dishes.

An experience for all the senses.  Replete with meaning.
